Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain custom objects using SAP ABAP, including reports, interfaces, forms, workflows, and enhancements.
• Build applications using the RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Design and develop OData services and manage integrations via SAP Gateway.
• Implement API-based integrations and ensure secure, scalable connectivity with external systems.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality code delivery.
• Optimize performance of existing custom developments and recommend improvements.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, coding standards, and project guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong development experience in SAP ABAP (Classic and OO-ABAP).
• Hands-on expertise with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
• Proven experience in SAP Gateway, OData service creation, and API development.
• Good knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, BOPF, and modern ABAP features.
• Experience integrating SAP with external applications/systems.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work closely with functional teams and deliver solutions within timelines.
