Nov 10, 2018: The IEEE Student Chapter in association with the IEEE Power and Energy Society hosted the “Women in Power” Summit at College of Engineering, Karunagappally on November 9, 2018. The committee has been in existence since 2012 and is dedicated to the cause of supporting education and career advancements of women. Jishnu K, Software Engineer from InApp and a Secretary at IEEE Computer Society Kerala, was invited as a key speaker to the event. He addressed the students on the various aspects and important changes that are happening in the IT industry and how holding the right skill set could help them land the desired job.
