InApp recently hosted an enriching externship program for seven students from Loyola School Trivandrum. The initiative aimed to provide school children with a firsthand experience of the inner workings of an IT services firm, spanning from project inception to development and testing phases.
During the five-day program, InApp volunteers visited the students at their homes to deliver welcome gifts, setting the tone for an engaging learning experience. Participants delved into various aspects of IT project management, including discussions on project lifecycles, requirement-gathering processes, and hands-on experience with project teams. They also had the opportunity to interact with professionals, engage in stand-up meetings, and even join a customer call with a real client.
The externship received rave reviews from the participating students, who found the experience insightful and enjoyable. InApp remains committed to nurturing a tech-savvy generation and plans to continue organizing such externship programs.
