The Department of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (DCB) of the University of Kerala, and InApp jointly designed and organized the “4-week Advanced Industry-Academia Training Programme on New Generation Sequencing and Analysis Techniques”. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. A. Ajayghosh, Director, CSIR-NIIST, who emphasized the need for collaborative biological research. Speakers from industry and academia described their research and development efforts underway to meet the future needs of the Next Generation Sequencing.
