InApp celebrated the 12th CSI InApp International Student Project Awards at the Hotel Gokulam Grand, Aakulam, on October 12th. The event recognized the remarkable innovation and talent displayed by college students in the field of software development.
The prestigious top award went to the project from the Kolhapur Institute of Technology’s College of Engineering Autonomous, Maharashtra. Two consolation prizes were awarded to equally impressive projects from K.J. Somaiya Institute of Technology, Maharashtra, and P.D.A. College of Engineering, Karnataka, both showcasing the remarkable talent of student teams and their mentors.
Dr. Saji Gopinath, the Vice Chancellor of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, graced the event as Chief Guest. The award program, a joint effort by the Computer Society of India Trivandrum chapter and InApp Information Technologies, aims to spotlight excellence, innovation, and practical relevance in student software projects from across the nation, furthering the growth of software development in India.
With over 600 project submissions from 10 states, this year’s event was highly competitive, featuring a range of software solutions utilizing technologies like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Blockchain, IoT, and Image Processing. The final evaluation saw 15 teams presenting working models of their projects, highlighting their commitment to technological advancement.
The CSI InApp International Student Project Awards was launched 12 years ago to provide a unique platform for college students to showcase their software development skills. Coordinated by the Computer Society of India, Trivandrum chapter, and InApp Information Technologies, the program identifies exceptional student projects in collaboration with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
Judged by a carefully selected group of experienced, highly qualified, and well-respected project professionals, entries are welcomed from institutions of engineering education from around the country.
