Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Salesforce Developer to design, build, and support mid-scale CRM and case management solutions for a US-based public sector engagement.

The role will focus on building scalable Service Cloud-based applications that support case intake, service tracking, workflow automation, reporting, and system integrations.

This position requires strong development skills in Apex and Lightning Web Components, along with experience delivering secure, data-sensitive CRM solutions in regulated or structured environments.

Government Cloud exposure is a plus but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, SOQL, and Flows
  • Build scalable case management and intake workflows in Service Cloud
  • Configure data models, objects, relationships, validation rules, and approval processes
  • Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs with external systems
  • Implement secure role-based access controls and sharing models
  • Build reports and dashboards for operational and program tracking
  • Perform data migration and cleansing from legacy systems
  • Provide ongoing production support and enhancements
  • Follow Git-based version control and CI/CD practices
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum delivery model with US stakeholders

Mandatory Skills & Competencies

  • 5–10 years of Salesforce development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience in:
    • Apex
    • Lightning Web
    • Components (LWC)
      SOQL / SOSL
    • Salesforce Flows and Approval Processes
  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Experience implementing integrations (API-led or middleware-based)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Salesforce security model
    • Profiles, permission sets, sharing rules
  • Experience working in multi-sandbox environments
  • Git-based source control experience
  • Experience supporting US clients or global delivery environments

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (mandatory preferred)
  • Platform Developer II (advantage)
  • Exposure to:
    • Salesforce Government Cloud
    • Salesforce Public Sector Solutions
    • Nonprofit Cloud
  • Experience in healthcare, public benefits, or data-sensitive domains
  • Understanding of compliance-driven environments (HIPAA-like security considerations)
  • Experience in data migration from legacy case systems
