The 11th version of Tech Day was conducted by InApp TMO (Technology Management Office) on 27th of October, 2018 at Park Center, Technopark. This tech day had a slew of latest topics from, Machine learning to Terraform. One of the key elements of the event was the session on Artifical Intelligence by Mr. Niyas Mohammed, Research Engineer – NLP from CLAP Research. He took the audience on a whirlwind tour of AI and how it has evolved over the years.
The other sessions of the day included Microsoft Flow, Quantum Computing, Functional Programming, Terraform & Kafka. Arvind S Panicker, Python Team, bagged the Best Session award for his interesting discussion on Kafka. Vinesh S of JavaScript team who received the runners-up for his session on functional programming also received the award for the most popular session voted by the audience. Overall the event served as an excellent opportunity for every InApp employee to share as well as learn interesting trends in technology.
