InApp, a leading technology solutions provider, proudly concludes a month-long Cybersecurity Awareness Program initiated on September 28th, 2023. The program, kicked off with a spirited flash mob at its Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram offices, aimed at promoting cybersecurity awareness across the organization.
Throughout the month, the IT & Security (ITS) team InApp hosted a series of engaging activities and competitions designed to enhance knowledge, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. The first week featured a phishing simulation event, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and thwarting phishing attempts. The second week brought the Cyber Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions, challenging participants in a simulated cybersecurity battleground to strengthen collaboration and problem-solving under time constraints.
The third week witnessed the intense “Hack the Box” – a hacker simulation game, adding an element of excitement to the learning process. Culminating the event in the fourth week was a comprehensive Cybersecurity Quiz, testing participants’ understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
The program’s success was evident through enthusiastic participation from the InApp team. Reflecting on the initiative, our Cybersecurity Department Head expressed gratitude for the engagement and commitment, emphasizing that the positive response serves as motivation to organize similar programs in the future.
