Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer (Lead Java + AWS Engineer) with strong experience in backend development, cloud architecture, and technical leadership. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS, along with experience leading development teams and delivering scalable enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement Microservices and REST APIs.
- Develop and deploy applications on AWS cloud.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure coding best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
Mandatory Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+
- Spring Boot & Microservices
- REST APIs
- Strong experience with AWS
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM
- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
- Experience with Git and CI/CD
- Strong technical leadership and team-handling skills
Good to Have:
- Docker / Kubernetes
- Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
- Kafka or other messaging systems
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Developer
- Experience with Agile/Scrum
