IC4V Specialist (6-8 Years)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IC4V (Integrated Cloud for Virtualization) Specialist with expertise in VMware vSphere, NSX, and cloud networking to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in virtualization, cloud networking, and software-defined infrastructure, ensuring the security, scalability, and high availability of enterprise cloud environments. Strong hands-on knowledge of VMware NSX for network virtualization and a solid understanding of Red Hat networking are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

IC4V Deployment & Cloud Virtualization

• Architect, deploy, and manage IC4V environments to support enterprise virtualization needs.
• Optimize cloud resource provisioning, workload automation, and overall cloud performance.
• Implement high-availability and disaster recovery strategies within IC4V environments.

VMware vSphere Administration

• Configure, manage, and optimize VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, HA, DRS, and vMotion.
• Monitor and optimize virtual machine (VM) performance and resource allocation.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management using PowerCLI, Python, or Ansible.

VMware NSX & Networking

• Design and manage NSX-based software-defined networking (SDN) solutions for cloud infrastructure.
• Implement micro-segmentation, distributed firewalls, and advanced security policies within NSX environments.
• Troubleshoot and optimize overlay and underlay networking to improve performance and security.

Security, Compliance, and Troubleshooting

• Ensure security best practices and compliance within cloud and virtualized environments.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve virtualization and networking-related issues.
• Optimize system performance through proactive monitoring and capacity planning.

Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in IC4V, VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter), and NSX.
• Strong expertise in vSphere administration, including HA, DRS, vMotion, and virtual networking.
• Deep understanding of NSX networking, including micro-segmentation, distributed switching, and security policies.
• Experience in cloud virtualization, SDN, and software-defined infrastructure.
• Scripting experience with PowerCLI, Python, or Ansible for automation.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in cloud and network environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Red Hat networking (RHEL, RHV, or OpenStack networking).
• Knowledge of vRealize Suite for cloud automation and monitoring.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments.
• Exposure to multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
