The Opportunity: We are seeking a creative and driven Content Marketing Executive to join our growing marketing team. This role is perfect for a talented writer and content strategist who is passionate about creating compelling narratives and assisting with broader digital marketing efforts. You will be instrumental in developing high-quality, engaging content that informs, educates, and attracts our target audience, while working closely with our Digital Marketing Lead to amplify our online presence and achieve our marketing objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

● Content Creation & Development:

  • Research, write, edit, and publish a variety of content formats, including blog posts, website copy, case studies, whitepapers, eBooks, social media posts, email newsletters, video scripts, and presentation decks.
  • Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice, messaging guidelines, and strategic marketing goals.
  • Translate complex technical concepts (especially related to IT services) into clear, engaging, and digestible content for various audiences.


● Content Strategy & Planning Support:

  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Lead to research industry trends, keywords, and audience insights to identify new content opportunities.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a comprehensive content calendar, ensuring a consistent flow of fresh and relevant content.
  • Contribute to the ideation and development of content themes and campaigns.


● SEO & Web Optimization:

  • Implement SEO best practices in all content, including keyword research, meta descriptions, and on-page optimization, to improve organic search rankings.
  • Work to optimize existing website content for performance and user experience.


● Content Distribution & Promotion Assistance:

  • Support the distribution of content across various digital channels, including social media, email campaigns, and partner networks.
  • Assist in managing content uploads and updates on our website and other platforms (e.g., CMS like WordPress).


● Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor basic content performance metrics (e.g., website traffic, engagement rates, social shares) and provide insights to the Digital Marketing Lead.


● Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
  • Provide direct support to the Digital Marketing Lead on various digital marketing initiatives as needed, including campaign execution, reporting, and competitor analysis.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • 5 years of proven experience in content creation, content writing, or content marketing.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of grammar and style.
  • Demonstrable ability to research and understand technical topics, and then simplify them for a broader audience.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them to content.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
  • Experience creating content for IT services, software, technology, or SaaS companies.
  • A strong portfolio of published work (writing samples, articles, blog posts, case studies) is required.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.


Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot).
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for creating basic visuals for content.
  • Familiarity with video content creation or editing.
  • Any certifications in content marketing or digital marketing.
