Role Overview
The Technology Leader is a senior, enterprise-level role responsible for shaping InApp’s technology direction,architecture standards, and engineering practices across clients and internal platforms. This role goes beyond project-level solution design and focuses on organization-wide technology leadership, client
technology advisory, and governance of complex, multi-team engagements. The Technology Leader works closely with business, delivery, and engineering leadership to ensure that technology decisions are scalable, secure, cost-effective, and aligned with long-term business goals. While not a day-to-day coding role, this position requires deep technical expertise and strong architectural judgment to guide, validate, and influence critical technical decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Technology Leadership
- Define and drive InApp’s overall technology direction in alignment with business and delivery
priorities. - Establish a cohesive technology blueprint across cloud, platforms, data, AI, and engineering
practices. - Provide leadership on complex technical decisions, trade-offs, and escalations across accounts.
- Ensure technology choices support scalability, reliability, security, and long-term maintainability.
2. Client-Facing Technology Leadership
- Act as a trusted technology advisor for strategic and long-term clients.
- Lead client-facing architecture discussions, technical workshops, and solution roadmap
conversations. - Guide clients on modernization, cloud adoption, platform strategy, and engineering best practices.
- Support pre-sales activities including solutioning, estimations, RFP responses, and technical due
diligence. - Strengthen InApp’s positioning as a technology-led partner rather than a delivery-only vendor.
3. Internal Technology Roadmap & Innovation
- Define and own the internal technology roadmap based on market trends, client needs, and
organizational capability. - Identify and prioritize investments in cloud platforms, data engineering, AI/ML, DevOps, security, and emerging technologies.
- Drive creation of reusable assets such as reference architectures, accelerators, frameworks, and best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and technology partnerships that enhance delivery
efficiency and quality.
4. Architecture Governance & Engineering Excellence
- Establish and govern enterprise-wide architecture standards, design principles, and engineering
guidelines. - Review and validate solution architectures across projects to ensure consistency and quality.
- Define architectural review mechanisms, decision frameworks, and escalation paths.
- Drive modernization initiatives including cloud migration, legacy transformation, and platform re-architecture.
- Embed security, compliance, performance, and reliability considerations into all technology designs.
5. People, Capability & Technical Leadership
- Mentor and guide Senior Technical Architects, Architects, and senior engineers.
- Build strong technical leadership capability across teams and projects.
- Contribute to defining technology skill frameworks, learning paths, and certification strategies.
- Foster a culture of engineering rigor, innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Mandatory Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience leading enterprise-scale technology and architecture initiatives in IT services or product engineering environments.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure, including cloud-native and distributed system design.
- Strong experience with Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven Systems, and Platform
Engineering. - Hands-on background in one or more core technology stacks (.NET, Java, Python, NodeJS), with the ability to guide multi-stack ecosystems.
- Solid understanding of full-stack, frontend, and mobile architectures to influence end-to-end
solution design. - Proven experience driving large-scale modernization and cloud transformation programs.
- Strong exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and
engineering automation. - Good understanding of security, identity, compliance, and data protection in cloud environments.
- Experience working in Agile or Scaled Agile delivery models.
