Node.js Backend Developer (6-10 Years)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Backend Developer with expertise in AWS microservices. The ideal candidate will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable server-side applications while ensuring high performance, security, and efficiency.

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in Node.js backend development with TypeScript
• Expertise in microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, Cognito, S3, RDS, API Gateway, DMS) and serverless frameworks (AWS SAM or Serverless Framework)

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in JavaScript & TypeScript (ES6+)
• Experience in Node.js backend development
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design & implementation
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, Cognito, DMS)
• Expertise with serverless frameworks (AWS SAM, Serverless Framework)
• Expertise in Database management (Relational) & optimization skills (PostgreSQL)
• Expertise with Sequelize ORM & writing database scripts
• Expertise in microservices architecture
• Experience with message queues (SQS, Kafka)
• Strong problem-solving & debugging skills
• Effective communication & teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills:

• Basic Knowledge in CI/CD pipeline setup & management (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)
• Basic Knowledge of security best practices (AWS IAM)
• Basic Knowledgeable in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Proficient in Unit testing framework (JEST)
