We recently conducted the second edition of the four-day externship program for students. This year we had five students attending the externship. The program was designed to provide the students with hands-on experience and exposure to the day-to-day operations of an IT company.
The students got a unique opportunity to interact with the CTO, HR department, Finance department, and Admin department, which provided them with an insight into the various functions of a corporate setup. They were given an overview of the roles and responsibilities of each department, which gave them a holistic understanding of how an IT company functions.
Apart from the interactive sessions with the departments, the students were also given specialized training sessions on Game Development using Blender, Augmented & Virtual Reality, and IOT. These sessions were conducted by experts in these fields, who shared their insights and knowledge with the students.
The students found the externship program to be an enriching experience, which helped them to gain practical knowledge and insights into the IT industry. They appreciated the efforts put in by the team at InApp to make the program informative and engaging. The company, on its part, expressed its commitment to continue such initiatives to help students gain exposure to the world of IT.
