Commemorating International Yoga Day 2022, InApp organized a 30-minutes yoga session at our office in Nila Campus, Trivandrum. The session was led by Janardhan Kumar K and Karun Krishnan, who both have been practicing yoga for almost a decade.
Janardhan, who is a senior member of the InApp team, explained to the team the benefits of yoga for both physical and mental health. He also taught the team basic asanas that could help them relax their body and mind.
Following the yoga session, Mr. Biju Varghese, Director -HR, InApp announced the launch of a 6-week yoga challenge that was aimed at
- Increasing strength & flexibility
- Stress management
- Improving focus & sleep pattern
The 6-week yoga challenge has been designed based on the theory that it takes an average of 40 days to form a new habit or to lose a destructive habit. This yoga challenge is aimed at challenging the employees to learn six new yoga asanas in six weeks.
At the beginning of each week, a tutorial on one Yoga Posture would be shared which the employees have to practice consistently for a week until the next week’s tutorial is uploaded. It was also announced that every team member who consistently practices & uploads photos/videos of them practicing the postures for 6 weeks would be rewarded.
