project description

The work involved setting up and configuring 30 AWS instances to run their applications along with the following AWS components.

  • ELK – Elasticsearch, Logstash & Kibana for analysis of logs. Logstash collects and parses logs, Elasticsearch indexes and stores the information and Kibana presents the data in visualizations that provide actionable insights into one’s environment.
  • Migration to Jenkins from TeamCity to reduce cost – Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployments migrated to Open Source tool called Jenkins and automated all the deployments process.
  • Ansible – Automated almost all day-to-day activities and back-end jobs to Jenkins automation tool.
  • NAT Box for Security – Using VPC implemented NAT Box, secured the back-end application boxes with private network, which prevents public access. This helps to implement secured and less secured (Internet facing) environment for the infrastructure.
